On Tuesday, 9th June, at 12 noon, Derek Hardacre’s family will be visiting the Club Water to have a Memorial Service.
His daughter would be delighted if all those members who knew her father, are able to attend, to say their goodbyes.
Please note that the pool will remain open for fishing on this day, but we kindly ask everyone to be respectful. If you are planning to fish on Tuesday 9th June, please do not fish from what was Derek’s favourite peg 7, as that is where the memorial will be held.
If anyone attending, wishes to share a few words in Derek’s memory, they are most welcome to do so.
Following the memorial, the family will be having lunch at the Mickerbrook public house. If anyone attending the memorial wishes to have a bite to eat, please could you let John Button know (07758 190 225) so that he can inform the family of the numbers to expect.
